Capturing Sarah’s Sunrise Photoshoot in San Clemente: A Perfect Southern California Morning
When Sarah reached out to me about her high school graduation photoshoot, she had one specific request: a classic Southern California beach at sunrise. Visiting from Idaho, she wanted to make the most of her vacation and capture the essence of California’s coastal beauty. After discussing a few locations, we decided on San Clemente—a spot known for its stunning beaches and breathtaking morning views.
On the day of the shoot, we met at the beach just before dawn. The early wake-up call was well worth it; the sky was painted with shades of pink and purple, creating the perfect "cotton candy" skies. The soft morning light reflected off the ocean, giving the entire scene a magical glow.
One of the best parts of shooting at sunrise was having the beach almost entirely to ourselves. It felt like a private paradise, just Sarah, the ocean, and the morning sun.
